Q: When do I receive funds for the work I have completed?

We pay the same day we receive cleared funds from your agency, all monies due will be with you by the close of business that day.i.e. if we receive funds Friday morning, we will ensure funds are with you by close of business Friday.

Q: What are Employment Costs?

Employment Costs is the employers NIC, which we retain from the money received from your agency to pay to HMRC. This is a statutory cost set by HMRC and your agency/umbrella rate should have been calculated to take this amount into consideration.

Q: Why am I having two deductions for National Insurances?

You are not, you only have employees NIC (Your own) deducted from your payslip (page 1). Employers NIC is a company deduction (page 2) that has been accounted for by your agency in your uplifted rate.

Q: What are Company Costs?

Company Costs is the employers NIC, which we retain from the money received from your agency to pay to HMRC. This is a statutory cost set by HMRC and your agency/umbrella rate should have been calculated to take this amount into consideration.
