We chose Ashtons after a recommendation from a friend (after having issues and delays with our first purchase with another solicitor a few years ago) and so glad that we did. The price was a little more than some of the cheaper conveyancers would have been, but not much more and still very reasonable in my opinion - and the service was so much better! Well worth it. Communication was excellent, everything was clearly explained and all the steps and costs outlined perfectly. They worked fast and did a thorough job. It was really easy to get in touch whenever we needed, and they responded very quickly to all our enquiries as well as to our estate agent, which meant everything went through so much more smoothly. We aren't near the office and we were able to do almost all the documents required digitally (just downloaded the PDFs and edited /signed them on Google Drive), and the rest by post. They use a secure email portal for all sensitive communication.
